I founded Rooted Retreats with a simple goal: to create one-of-a-kind spaces that help people reconnect with nature, slow down, and make lasting memories.
As a kid who grew up watching treehouse masters, I never expected to become a builder in that field. For the past 8 years I've been blessed to be part of a great company — Tree Top Builders — leading builds I'm proud of.
My love for treehouses is huge. I love nature, and being able to create something magical for every client I meet. As a society, I think we've somewhat lost our connection with nature — and we need to embrace and enjoy it as much as we can while it's still here. What better way than being up in the treetops, breathing in what each tree gives us?

Venturing out on my own isn't because I think I'm better than anyone else. It's simply me offering my skills and ideas for everyone to enjoy and make memories with — a company built on my own standards of craftsmanship, communication, and integrity.
Every project is designed around the land, the trees, and the people who will enjoy it. Whether it's a luxury treehouse, a custom cabin, or a unique retreat, my focus is on creating spaces that feel timeless, purposeful, and built to last.
I remember my first treehouse — a platform bolted to a tree. Was it the best? No. Was it the standard we build to in the industry? Definitely not. But I made a lot of great core memories on that platform, and I think everyone should get to experience that.
